VG- : At least one mark/scratch of which can be felt with a fingernail. Many scratches, scuffs, marks. May have background noise, pops, etc. G: Heavy wear, marks, scratches scuffs. This record has background noise, pops, etc. VG+: Typically has a few imperfections such as slight creasing or slight ring wear, or slight wear from storage. Very slight seam wear or splits in the spine. May have saw cut, punch hole or corner cut. VG: More pronounced wear than VG+. Perhaps several scuffs, scratches on the cover and more prominent spine wear and/or ring wear. Might have noticeable staining, saw cut, punch hole, or cut. VG-: Similar to VG, but may have one or more significant flaws such as heavy spine splitting or heavy staining, scuffing, etc. Might have saw cut, punch hole, or corner cut. G: Heavy wear, marks, scratches, staining, spine damage. I package in a proper record mailer with the vinyl in a paper sleeve outside of the cover in between two cardboard inserts.
