BOXED SET OF 5 LIMITED EDITION Production Cels. This is a RARE and COMPLETE vintage set of 5 limited edition Cels that were specially commissioned in celebration of Bugs Bunny’s 50th Birthday (1990). This set is number 247/500, Certificate of Authenticity included. Each cel is hand-inked and hand painted on tri-acetate and mounted on an offset lithographed background. They are all set in acid-free double mats. Each cel is based upon a pose from a cartoon directed by one of Bugs’ five most illustrious directors: Tex Avery, Bob Clampett, Robert McKimson, Friz Freling and Chuck Jones. You will receive these five cels in the original box. The Old Grey Hare – featuring Elmer Fudd and directed by Bob Clampett, 1944. A Lad in His Lap – featuring a Genie, directed by Robert McKimson, 1948. Big House Bunny – featuring Yosemite Sam, directed by Friz Freling, 1950. A Wild Hare – featuring Elmer Fudd, directed by Tex Avery, 1940. Rabbit Fire – featuring Daffy Duck, directed by Chuck Jones, 1951. Each cel is in perfect, new condition and have only been removed from the box on a couple of occasions. They have never been displayed or hung. Each cell has its COA on back. The exterior box has two corners that have been split due to age and have been taped, otherwise in great condition.
