Don’t miss out on the opportunity to own this amazing piece of Looney Tunes history. This amazing sculpture of GOSSAMER has been a staple in my office for the last twenty-plus years. He is in very good condition, considering the time period. But there are some little flaws you must be aware of. And for someone who has been looking at this guy for a long time, I never noticed any of these until I took these pictures. There was some yellow paint on the fingernails that had either faded or rubbed off so you could see the orange underneath. And on the right hand, one of the fingernails appears to have paint on top of the yellow. Like it either spilled over or is paint from something else. So, I decided to give the fingernails a little touch up to at least take away the orange on the fingernails. It is a passable job, to say the least. But I’m sure someone with better retouching skills than mine could easily fix those fingernails even better. (Some sandpaper and touch up paint). But for now, the fingernails all look alike, and can’t really tell unless you look at it closely. (SEE BEFORE & AFTER PICTURES) At any rate, I reduced my original asking price because of this repair. The shoes — There are a few minor scuffs, but the shoes look pretty good. General — The sculpture on the whole is in very good condition, but there are some very small marks here and there. Nothing is noticeable until you look very closely. But as you can see from the photos, you don’t really notice anything but the very bright orange fur. If you have any questions, please ask. He would make a wonderful addition to any Man Cave, She Shed, Office or Special room. Or you can pick him up locally in NJ. Here’s a little info on Gossamer I found out on Wikipedia. Gossamer is an animated character in the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. He is a large, hairy, orange or red monster. His body is perched on two giant tennis shoes, and his heart-shaped face is composed of only two oval eyes and a wide mouth, with two hulking arms ending in dirty, clawed fingers. The monster’s main trait is his uncombed, orange hair. He originally was voiced by Mel Blanc and has been voiced by Frank Welker, Maurice LaMarche, Joe Alaskey, Jim Cummings, Kwesi Boakye, Eric Bauza and currently Fred Tatasciore.
