















A Clockwork Orange Press Kit – RARE – Official Warner Bros. Publicity Materials This press kit was provided to theaters premiering the film “A Clockwork Orange” back in 1971. This extremely rare kit comes in an 11″ x 14″ glossy folder with the one sheet art on the front. The folder has dinged corners and some smudges and some missing ink on the artwork itself. Inside the folder is “X” rated artwork by the same artist not seen elsewhere in the campaign. Inside are individual illustrated reviews, articles and interviews of Stanley Kubrick from “Playboy, ” “Newsweek, ” “Saturday Review” among others, all printed on glossy stock. Next, there are 9 glossy 8″ x 10″ stills from the film, each one having a description on a typed label adhered to the back. These stills are rippled (R-I-P-P-L-E-D as in wavy, NOT ripped) and always have been, but are in mint condition having been housed in a glassine protective sleeve. This sleeve is torn and yellowed. There is also a 6 page (8.5″ x 11″), with heavy cover, production information document. Also an invitation/ticket with the iconic artwork to a private screening of the film with the time and date and a theater’s information imprinted in the lower right corner. The whole thing comes a white paper envelope with the movie logo and Warner Brothers address on it. The envelope is the worse for wear with a chunk missing at the top and tears.
