Authentic Bugsby Warner Bros Studio Hollywood Acrylic Plastic Golden Carrot Award 12 inch Trophy Super RARE! Plaque has not been scribed yet. Bugsy Golden Carrot awards were given to one Employee of the Month for both the Corporate office and the Distribution Center at the Warner Bros Studio Stores (WBSS). Every year, a Store Manager Conference was held in Burbank, which would culminate in the Bugsy Awards Ceremony. Bugsys were awarded to the top performing Store (and Gallery) Managers during the ceremony. Bugsy Awards were never released to the public, though when the stores closed in 2000, there was a plan in place to release a limited edition of them made of acrylic, coated plastic (for sale to the public). Because that never happened, and because WBSS only awarded these plastic trophies for a few years and in limited numbers, the awards have become very collectible. Based on what I was able to find, this trophy is believed to be a pre-production trophy and the plaque was never scribed. It’s made to be removed to be able to scribe the intended name of the recipient. Please do your research if you’re in need of further history of this item. Please look at all pictures.
