“The Ritva Man” or “Ritva Ross” sweaters were made in very limited productions by Ritva and Mike Ross with the likes of David Hockney and Patrick Caulfield. This particular line of sweaters was produced for Warner Brothers. Mel Blanc sports a similar Ritva sweater in his 1981 interview w/ David Letterman–I believe this line of sweaters to be from the late 70’s–although that is uncertain. There is no tag on this particular knit, whether there was one to begin with is also uncertain due to the limited nature of Ritva’s production. A one of a kind archival piece.
