This amazing cel is a rarity I have recently stumbled upon in our offices. This is an ORIGINAL ANIMATION CEL from the now classic YOU SCRATCH MY BACK episode. Its from an incredible scene in which Batman enters Catwoman’s apartment, and then the camera zooms in for this close up! It is actually TWO hand-painted cels Batman is one, and the other is his mouth as he speaks during this part of the scene! It also comes with the hand-painted ORIGINAL BACKGROUND from this scene. It is so tough to get these pieces with all the correct pieces specific to the scene. I haven’t seen an OBG from such an early episode in a LONG time. This piece comes with its gold embossed WB logo and certificate of authenticity. I always hate to see these go… They are one of a kind pieces of ORIGINAL ART, and cels are no longer used in animation production. It is a dying art (if not dead already). Many of you know it is difficult to get these now-vintage pieces, and especially difficult to get them with their Original Hand Painted Backgrounds.
