VINTAGE WARNER BROTHERS SYLVESTER CEL 1952 – RARE. Please see photos for verification of description and condition. Before you is I believe a vintage 1950’s Warner Brothers Hand painted – Hand Inked 12-Field Production Cel of Sylvester the Cat. Markings on untrimmed Cel is “36” in lower right hand corner of cell. Notice the vintage punch holes in the bottom of the cell, authentic to the period. The Cel was stored in a vintage 1952 Warner Brothers Pictures Distribution Corporation inter-office Branch envelope and being routed to the main Warner Brothers Pictures Office in New York 36, NY. Was this Cel possibly being sent from California to NY for some reason? I acquired this piece with the piece of paper inside the Enclosed plastic envelope with the Warner Brothers Cartoons logo on the small piece of paper. I have not opened the sealed Cel since acquired 25 years ago. Condition is Very, very good for a Cel of this era. This is indeed a rare piece of Warner Brothers History that can be part of your collection.
